Why Connect Intercom?
Samepage is used by Product Managers to collect insights from across the company, including Customer Support and Customer Success teams using Intercom. By connecting Intercom, Samepage users can:
Build Signals to summarize conversation themes
Spot emerging issues and recurring bugs
Discover feature requests coming through support channels
Use the Samepage Copilot to answer questions or draft documents informed by Intercom data

Shared integration — one admin connects Intercom, and the data is available to all users in the workspace.
Data Imported
Samepage views and imports the following from Intercom:
Users — Customer/user profiles
Companies — Company records associated with users
Conversations — Support conversations, messages, and threads
This data is used to help Product Managers research features, strategies, and themes in user feedback.
How to Connect
You must have an existing Samepage account. If you need one, sign up at samepage.ai.
Go to the Integrations page in Samepage.
Find and click Intercom.
Authenticate your Intercom account and accept the requested permissions.
Samepage will begin importing data from Intercom automatically, refreshing multiple times per day.
What You Can Do After Connecting
Create Signals that analyze Intercom conversations — e.g., "Surface recurring feature requests from support conversations this week" or "Identify the top 5 emerging bugs from customer conversations"
Chat with Copilot about Intercom data — e.g., "What are customers saying about our onboarding experience?" or "Summarize the support themes from last week"
Combine with other data — Cross-reference Intercom conversations with Jira tickets, Slack discussions, or CRM data for a complete picture

Does this integration provide clickable links back to the source? Yes. Intercom conversations include links that take you directly to the conversation in Intercom. When Signals or Copilot reference a conversation, you can click through to view the full thread in Intercom itself.
Privacy
Intercom data is never used to train AI models. Data is processed only to generate Signal outputs and Copilot responses. See Data Handling for more information.
