Why Connect HubSpot?
Samepage helps Product Managers stay informed about deal progression and customer engagement without living in the CRM. By connecting HubSpot, Samepage users can:
Build Signals to track deal progression and stage changes
Spot stalled deals and drops in contact engagement
Surface pipeline trends and rep activity patterns
Use the Samepage Copilot to answer questions or draft documents informed by CRM data
Integration Type
Shared integration — one admin connects HubSpot, and the data is available to all users in the workspace.
Data Imported
Samepage views and imports the following from HubSpot:
Companies — Company records and associated properties
Contacts — Contact profiles linked to companies and deals
Deals — Deal records including stage, amount, close date, and owner
Notes — Notes attached to contacts, companies, and deals
Stage changes — Historical stage progression for deals
Owners — HubSpot user profiles for deal and contact ownership
Pipelines — Pipeline definitions and stage configurations
This data is used to help Product Managers research deal health, customer context, and pipeline trends.
Sync Behavior
Initial sync pulls data from the last 2 years
Ongoing syncs pull data from the last 1 week
How to Connect
You must have an existing Samepage account. If you need one, sign up at samepage.ai.
Go to the Integrations page in Samepage.
Find and click HubSpot.
Authenticate your HubSpot account and accept the requested permissions.
Select which objects to import (e.g., companies, contacts, deals) and confirm your selection. Samepage will begin importing data automatically, refreshing multiple times per day.
What You Can Do After Connecting
Create Signals that analyze HubSpot data — e.g., "Summarize the latest CRM activity from HubSpot" or "Identify deals that have been stuck in the same stage for more than 14 days"
Chat with Copilot about CRM data — e.g., "Which deals changed stage this week?" or "What's the average time deals spend in the negotiation stage?"
Combine with other data — Cross-reference HubSpot deals with Intercom conversations, Slack discussions, or meeting notes for a complete picture
Signal Examples Using HubSpot
Signal | What It Does |
Deal Progression Report | Summarizes stage changes across all active deals for the week |
Stalled Deals Alert | Flags deals that haven't moved stage or had activity in the last 14 days |
Contact Engagement Trends | Surfaces changes in contact activity and engagement patterns |
Pipeline Health Overview | Provides a snapshot of pipeline value, deal count, and movement by stage |
Example Signal Prompt
Here's a detailed prompt you can paste into a Signal's instructions field to get a comprehensive deal progression report:
Review all HubSpot deal and contact activity from the past week and produce a structured summary organized as follows:
Stage Changes — List every deal that changed stage this week. For each one, note the previous stage, new stage, deal amount, and owner. Highlight any deals that moved backward or skipped stages.
Stalled Deals — Identify deals that have been in the same stage for more than 14 days with no recent activity. Include the deal amount, owner, and how long it's been stalled.
Contact Engagement — Surface any notable changes in contact activity — new contacts added to deals, contacts going quiet, or spikes in engagement. Flag deals where the primary contact hasn't been active recently.
New Deals & Closed Deals — Summarize deals that entered the pipeline this week and deals that closed (won or lost). For closed-lost deals, note the reason if available.
Pipeline Summary — Provide a high-level snapshot of total pipeline value by stage, number of active deals, and week-over-week movement.
Keep it concise. Use bullet points. Include links to HubSpot records wherever possible so I can jump to the source.
FAQ
Does this integration provide clickable links back to the source? Yes. HubSpot records include deep links that take you directly to the company, contact, or deal in HubSpot. When Signals or Copilot reference a record, you can click through to view the full details in HubSpot itself.
Privacy
