Copilot Overview

What is Copilot?

Copilot is Samepage's fully context-aware AI assistant. It's connected to all your integrated data sources out of the box — no additional configuration needed. You can ask it questions, draft documents, summarize information, and find things across all your connected apps.

Where to Find It

Copilot appears on the right side of the Daily Signal view. It's always accessible while you're reviewing your Signals.

What Copilot Can Do

Search and retrieve:

  • Find information across all connected tools — acts as enterprise search

  • Look up specific tickets, conversations, deals, or documents

  • Answer questions about what's happening in your data (e.g., "What features did we ship last week?")

Analyze and synthesize:

  • Cross-reference data across sources (e.g., correlate customer call recordings with Jira tickets and GitHub PRs)

  • Summarize user interviews or meeting transcripts

  • Identify patterns across support tickets, sales calls, or feature requests

Draft and create:

  • Write feature tickets or user stories based on your data

  • Draft PRDs informed by customer feedback and usage data

  • Generate status updates or reports

  • Create summaries of conversations or activity threads

How Copilot Differs from Signals

Signals are proactive and scheduled — they run automatically and push insights to you. Copilot is reactive and on-demand — you ask it questions and it responds.
Think of Signals as your automated monitoring system, and Copilot as your research assistant. They complement each other: Signals tell you what's happening, and Copilot helps you dig deeper or take action on what you find.

Data Access

Copilot has access to the same data as your Signals — everything from your connected integrations. This includes Slack messages, Jira/Linear tickets, GitHub activity, CRM records, analytics data, meeting transcripts, and more.
Copilot does not use your data to train AI models. All data is processed only to generate responses to your queries.

Example Queries

  • "What are the top feature requests from Gong calls this month?"

  • "Summarize the discussion in #product-feedback this week"

  • "What's the status of the billing migration project?"

  • "Draft a feature ticket for the Zoom integration based on what Datadog requested"

  • "How did our V2 launch affect weekly active users?"

  • "What customer feedback have we received about onboarding?"
